Terms of Service

Last updated: October 9, 2026. These terms are a working draft and will be finalised before general availability.

1. Who we are

TruScale 3D (“we”, “us”) is operated by [Legal entity name TBD]. We are the provider of the TruScale 3D service. Contact: hello@truscale3d.com.

2. The service

We create, host and serve 3D models and augmented-reality (AR) experiences of your products for display on your website and channels (the “Service”). The Service is a done-for-you service: we produce models from photos, dimensions and material samples you supply.

We check models against the dimensions you provide, but on-screen and AR sizes are visualisations and may differ from the physical product. Finish and material switching is available in the 3D viewer. AR shows one finish at a time.

3. Availability and unsupported regions

The Service is available worldwide, except in the following unsupported regions:

all member states of the European Union
the United Kingdom
South Korea

We do not accept customers based in unsupported regions. You may not use, display or distribute the Service or any model produced by it in an unsupported region, or to end users located there. These limits come from the licence of a third-party AI model we use (see section 5).

4. AI-generated models

Some models are generated with the help of AI, including the Tencent Hunyuan 3D 2.0 model. Models generated this way are labelled “AI-generated” in our viewer, and you agree not to remove or obscure that label when you display them publicly.

5. Third-party model licence and use restrictions (pass-through)

Parts of the Service use Tencent Hunyuan 3D 2.0, licensed under the Tencent Hunyuan 3D 2.0 Community License Agreement. Tencent Hunyuan 3D 2.0 is licensed under the Tencent Hunyuan 3D 2.0 Community License Agreement, Copyright © 2025 Tencent. All Rights Reserved. The trademark rights of “Tencent Hunyuan” are owned by Tencent or its affiliate. A copy of the licence is available here.

As a condition of using the Service, and as required by Sections 5(a) and 5(b) of that licence, you agree that:

Your use of the Service, the Tencent Hunyuan 3D 2.0 works and any outputs must comply with applicable laws and regulations (including trade compliance laws) and with the Acceptable Use Policy for the Tencent Hunyuan 3D 2.0 works, which is incorporated into these terms by reference (see the licence copy linked above).
You must not use the Tencent Hunyuan 3D 2.0 works or any output or results of them to improve any other AI model (other than Tencent Hunyuan 3D 2.0 or its model derivatives).
You must not use, reproduce, modify, distribute or display those works, outputs or results outside the licensed territory. The licensed territory excludes the European Union, the United Kingdom and South Korea (our unsupported regions).
If you distribute models to others, you must pass these same use restrictions on to them.

TruScale 3D and [Legal entity name TBD] are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tencent or its affiliates.

6. Your content

You confirm you have the rights to the photos, product information and materials you send us, and you grant us the licence needed to produce and host your models. You keep the GLB/USDZ files for setup fees you have paid.

7. Fees

Fees are shown on our pricing page in US dollars, with Canadian-dollar prices shown alongside. You are charged in the currency shown at checkout. Setup fees are one-time. Hosting plans renew monthly or annually until cancelled. Applicable taxes are extra.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes before they take effect.
